The Tea Garden Café, located at 112 E. Chicago
Blvd. downtown Tecumseh, has been included in a new cookbook featuring recipes
gathered from tea rooms around the United States. Owner, Rochelle Bird,
submitted her prized recipe for Crustless Spinach Quiche and was delighted
to find out that her recipe was chosen to be included in the new book, which
is circulating to gift shops and bookstores around the nation.
Earlier this year, Bird responded to a letter from CQ
Products, an Iowa-based distributor of recipe and gift books, asking for recipe
submissions from tea rooms around the United States. The letter indicated
that the recipes would be sorted and only the finest submissions would be included in
the new book

Bird is selling copies of the cookbook at her tea room
for $10.00
The book is full of mouth-watering recipes collected
from around the United States and includes a contact list of contributing
businesses. |
